LifeGreen FAQ
Does LifeGreen™ need to be consumed on an empty stomach?
It can be taken before or after meals with the same effectiveness. If you have digestive issues, low blood pressure, or low blood sugar, it is recommended to take it after meals.
Should LifeGreen™ be taken separately from medications?
Yes, LifeGreen™ should be taken at least 2 hours apart from medications. Similarly, if you drink coffee or tea, leave at least 1 hour between consuming them and LifeGreen™.
What is the minimum age to take LifeGreen™?
Children aged 7–11 can take half a sachet, while those aged 12 and above can take up to one sachet daily.
How does LifeGreen™ help with uterine fibroids?
LifeGreen™ cactus powder is beneficial for women with uterine fibroids. Oxidative stress has been identified as a major factor in fibrotic gynecological conditions like fibroids. Fibroids are characterized by an abundance of extracellular matrix (ECM) and myofibroblasts, which oxidative stress exacerbates, leading to growth. The cactus powder in LifeGreen™ contains polyphenols and flavonoids, which have high antioxidant properties and reduce free radical damage. This mechanism helps lower inflammation and free radical activity, potentially slowing the growth and activity of fibroids.
Additionally, sulforaphane in LifeGreen™ aids liver hormone metabolism, addressing hormonal imbalances often linked to fibroids. It is also rich in antioxidants, with anticancer properties that inhibit tumor growth and promote cancer cell autophagy (self-destruction).
However, a balanced diet and lifestyle adjustments are essential. Fibroid growth is often linked to endocrine disorders caused by factors like excessive dieting, lack of exercise, excessive soy isoflavone supplements, processed or hormone-rich foods, insufficient sleep, and stress.
Can LifeGreen™ help patients undergoing chemotherapy?
The cactus and broccoli extracts in LifeGreen™ are rich in phytochemicals, especially sulforaphane, which has cancer-inhibiting properties. Cancer patients may consider taking LifeGreen™ after chemotherapy sessions to boost immunity and alleviate discomfort, but only after consulting their doctor.
LifeGreen™ is not a substitute for cancer medications or chemotherapy, and patients should continue to follow medical advice.
Can LifeGreen™ be taken during chemotherapy/radiotherapy?
It is generally recommended to take LifeGreen™ before and after chemotherapy to enhance immunity and reduce side effects. However, LifeGreen™ should be avoided starting three days before chemotherapy, during chemotherapy, and for three days afterward. This is because chemotherapy and radiotherapy rely on inducing oxidative stress to weaken cancer cells, and antioxidants could reduce their effectiveness.
After completing cancer treatment, antioxidants like those in LifeGreen™ can help repair the body and enhance immunity. Always consult a doctor to assess whether LifeGreen™ is suitable for your condition.
Can LifeGreen™ be taken during menstruation?
It is recommended to pause LifeGreen™ consumption during menstruation.
Is LifeGreen™ suitable for diabetic patients?
LifeGreen™ contains no added sugar, making it suitable for diabetic patients. However, it is not recommended for pregnant women with gestational diabetes due to the lack of studies on its effects in pregnancy.
Who should avoid taking LifeGreen™?
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women: There are no studies on its safety for these groups. Consult your doctor before use.
- Individuals with autoimmune diseases: LifeGreen™ boosts the immune system, which may worsen autoimmune conditions.
- G6PD deficiency patients: Although LifeGreen™ contains no fava beans, G6PD patients are often sensitive. Consult a doctor or undergo allergen testing before use.
Is LifeGreen™ cactus powder organic? Can I make my own powder?
Yes, LifeGreen™ cactus powder is certified organic by Oregon Tilth Certified Organic (OTCO). However, factors like altitude, climate, and soil are crucial for growing high-quality cactus. Ideal conditions include:
- An altitude of around 2,000 meters (6,000 feet), as intense UV radiation at this height encourages antioxidant production.
- Volcanic soil, which provides essential minerals.
- Natural rainwater irrigation without artificial watering.
However, other ingredients in LifeGreen™ are not organic.
Why does LifeGreen™ leave sediment at the bottom of the cup?
The sediment is dietary fiber from the cactus, which is rich in fiber.
Why does LifeGreen™ cause menstrual cycles to come earlier or later?
LifeGreen™ does not contain any ingredients that would disrupt menstruation or endocrine.
A normal menstrual cycle is 21–40 days, with 3–7 days of menstruation. Variations of up to 7 days earlier or later are considered normal.
Irregular cycles are often caused by factors like inconsistent routines, late nights, excessive eating or dieting, stress, or changes in lifestyle or diet. If other hormone-containing products are consumed alongside LifeGreen™, they may disrupt hormonal balance.
Additionally, cactus is naturally cooling. Women with colder body constitutions may take longer to adjust to LifeGreen™. For those with a cold constitution, it is recommended to start with half a sachet daily or 2–3 times a week, gradually increasing intake as the body adapts.
If a customer has a weak constitution or poor spleen and stomach function, they may experience imbalances like irregular menstruation when taking LifeGreen™. In such cases, pairing it with foods that strengthen digestion can help the body absorb LifeGreen™’s nutrients.
Why does bleeding occur after menstruation ends?
Post-menstrual bleeding can occur for several reasons:
- Residual menstrual blood: After menstruation, some women may still have minor bleeding from broken blood vessels or glands in the uterine lining. This can result in brown discharge after periods.
- Ovulation bleeding: A few days to a week after menstruation, women enter the ovulation phase, during which a brief estrogen drop can cause uterine lining shedding and light bleeding. This usually lasts 2–3 days and may include mild lower back pain.
Factors like late nights, stress, emotional fluctuations, excessive dieting, or consuming cold, spicy, or greasy foods can exacerbate ovulation bleeding.
If there are no serious symptoms like frequent urination, abdominal pain, or prolonged bleeding over 7 days, there’s no need to worry. Maintain a light diet and let the issue resolve naturally.
Are menstrual clots normal?
Small clots during menstruation are normal. However, if there are many large clots accompanied by heavy bleeding (e.g., needing to change pads every 1–2 hours), seek medical advice.
Is vaginal discharge normal?
Yes, vaginal discharge, or leukorrhea, is a natural secretion that lubricates and protects against infections.
The amount and appearance of discharge vary with hormonal changes throughout the menstrual cycle:
- Before ovulation: discharge increases, becomes clear and stretchy, resembling egg whites.
- Post-ovulation: discharge turns cloudy and reduces in volume.
- Before menstruation: due to pelvic congestion, discharge may increase and become thicker.
Normal discharge causes slight dampness in underwear. However, excessive discharge, or changes in color, odor, or consistency, may indicate a problem and should be evaluated by a doctor.
Is LifeGreen™ suitable for vegetarians?
LifeGreen™ contains small amounts of onion and garlic, making it unsuitable for strict vegetarians.
